The white iPhone 3GS reportedly overheats during a period of using the GPS and 3G of the phone, and its case changes color. Engadget says it turns a browner and Gizmodo reports as being pink. We have good news for iPhone 3GS users who want to jailbreak and unlock their iPhone as the Dev Team have announced that they were able to verify that the 24Kpwn exploit that the hybrid team used on the iPod Touch 2G and it is still applicable to the bootrom of the iPhone 3GS. So it means that they will be able to release redsn0w tool to jailbreak and unlock iPhone 3GS. According to the Dev Team: This (iPhone 3GS) bootrom was cut in about the August 2008 timeframe, so the unintended early reveal of 24Kpwn earlier this year didn’t affect the iPhone 3GS
